Protein ubiquitination – the labeling of a protein with ubiquitin – directs a wide range of biological processes from protein breakdown by the proteasome, cellular localization of proteins to transcriptional activity and DNA repair.
The malfunction in ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS) activity in multiple diseases has become the focus of various drug discovery efforts aimed at developing small molecule inhibitors. Despite the successes with the proteasome inhibitors, and more recently with PROTACs and DUBTACs, developing modulators of the enzymes in the ubiquitin proteasome system has proven challenging due to a lack of research reagents and strategies. UbiQ offers innovative reagents and an experienced team to help you to overcome these challenges.
Ubiquitin reagents are important tools in molecular biology research, enabling scientists to delve deeper into elucidating processes essential for the ubiquitin-proteasome system. This complex pathway of the ubiquitin-proteasome system helps maintain cellular integrity by removing damaged proteins and regulates the levels of key proteins involved in the cell cycle, DNA repair, and immune response.
Our facility at the Amsterdam Science Park is dedicated to developing, manufacturing, and commercialising a diverse array of ubiquitin reagents. These include activity-based probes and activity assay reagents designed for activity profiling and high-throughput screening campaigns.
We also offer reagents based on ubiquitin-like proteins such as SUMO, ISG15, and NEDD8, expanding the possibilities for targeted research applications.
It is important to note that all our research tools are “For laboratory research use only, not for use in animals and humans".
Identify and validate your target using UbiQ Probes.
Screen your compounds targeting DUBs and Ubl proteases using UbiQ Assay reagents.
Our reagents enable you in lead on target validation and lead optimization.
